Yes, you can set default sorting order for Issue Tracker.

Issue Tracker > Select the Project

Right Navigation Panel > Settings > Customize Board Columns > Sort Items By

  • Select the desired option from dropdown for default sorting order. Once you are done here, click on Save and Close
  • You will land back on Issue Tracker
  • Now select the same option n from Issue Tracker board

You have successfully set your preferred sorting order as default.
