Task effort estimates feature is also available on the Kanban board. All three estimate fields are not visible on Kanban Board – User Story card though.
User Story Card default fields of Kanban Board have Time spent hourglass instead. It shows item duration being in similar status or panel.
To enter Estimates on a Task:- Open the task details and click on “clock” of icon bar.
- It will open effort log dialog where you can enter estimates and effort spent.
To view accumulative effort of a User Story Tasks:
- Open User Story details > Tasks
- It will show all underlying tasks and their effort estimate, effort logged/spent, and remaining effort.
- An accumulative effort is also shown on top of tasks list.
A view, where you can add and update existing tasks effort.
