In Kanban board you can enable time tracking by using hourglass feature. This hourglass counts time spent since an item is in the same status and also calculates the time since when an item is in the same column of the board. Each board column can be configured to multiple item statuses.

Tip: Click on Column header to know, its underlying configured statuses.

On Sprint Board, open the Sprint contents that you want to change:

  • Click on its Right Navigation Menu, and select Settings > Customize Cards and Panels
    • enable time tracking on Kanban Board
  • click on “show item duration” checkbox located beside Board Name. By default, it is not selected.
  • Save the changes and Close editor.
  • On Kanban board Item cards, now you will see an hourglass on each User Story and Issue Card.
