Search for an epic by using the Filter provided in Epic. Associated User Stories of an epic cannot be filtered though. You can sort epics on the Epics board. Epics can be sorted by priority, Epic Id, Linked User Story amount, completion percentage, status and owner.

• Click on any of Column heading in Epic board, and contents will be sorted accordingly.
• Click once more on the same column header to switch the sorting order.
