What are the certifications in agile?

Agile certification bodies are companies that help you cement your knowledge of agile by getting an accredited certification. Some of these bodies include:

PMI-ACP

The Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is geared towards individuals whose organizations are in the process of adopting Agile. If you achieve this certification, you must earn 30 professional development units every three years to maintain their status.

APMG International

APMG International has a number of agile project management certification offering. It is a global accreditation organization and is well reputed in the industry. APMG offers certification in Agile program management and Agile Project management.

International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile)

The International Consortium for Agile is an independent Agile accrediting agency which provides certifications for a wide variety of Agile ‘styles’ including Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban and more.

Scrum Alliance

Scrum Alliance is the leading organization of Scrum professionals. It strives to maintain the wide-scale adoption and effective practice of Scrum. The Scrum Alliance offers six different accreditations for professionals: Certified Scrum Master, Certified Product Owner, Certified Scrum Developer, Certified Scrum Trainer, Certified Scrum Coach and Certified Scrum Professional.
