We are excited to announce our new release today. This has some truely amazing features for our customes. ReleaseBoard is recent addition, which makes it very smooth to track user stories and issues. Release tracking is usually painful process, to gather all the statuses and see what is ready to be released. Yodiz makes it really simple and exciting.
Let’s go through what we have done in this release.
1. Release Board
It has real time statistics, quick button to “Add New” or “Add Existing” user story or issues. Further it is divided into Top Bar with multiple options and tracking panels for User Stories and Issues.
1.1 Top Bar
View real times statistics about progress, comment on release and engage people, view attachments description and status of what’s going on.
1.2 User stories and Issues Tracking Panels
These views has 3 panels
- Open : All things which are still in development and have status New or In Progress.
- Completed : Once user story is implemented and status is moved to completed or issues is FIXED.
- Ready to Release: When user story is ACCEPTED or Issue is CLOSED then it moves to this panel
2. Improvements in ScrumBoard
To track sprint so far we offered burn down only. Now in this release there is complete bar to track real time progress of sprint, view attachments, description and engage team with comments. These comments are at sprint level, so instead of sending emails you can just drop the comment here. Remember the tip that to notify any individual user in comments text box write @username .
3. Notification messages updates
Previously only we were displaying ID of user story, task or issue to highlight if it is updated. Based on customer feedback, we have now improved it and you could see full title. Have a look at this screen shot, remember, when you tag some user in comments by using @username, he would see notification message here.
4. Change History
Previously we only had history for issues, in this release you can view detailed change history for user stories and tasks. It will enable better tracking and auditing to understand who has changed what. To view history of user story you have to “Detail View” page of user story. From ScrumBoard or ReleaseBoard you can go there by clicking on options menu and selecting “Detail View”.
