Reetro is a remote retrospective tool. It simplifies the process of gathering feedback from team members and makes it easier to collaborate and communicate.

Agile teams can use Reetro to either run regular retrospectives or as a general brainstorming tool.

All they have to do is to tell the tool what type of format they intended to use and how often they run retrospectives.

Once the retrospective format and date is selected, Reetro will automatically create a board before the next meeting and sends automatic feedback push notification to the team members.

In this chapter we will dig deep into the tool and show you have some of its basic functions are performed.

Here are the details for each step from taking your retrospectives from good to great.

1- Creating a new Board.

When creating a new board in Reetro, you can choose among following retrospective formats

1- What went well, What Didn’t Go Well

2- Mad, Sad, Glad

3-Start, Stop, Continue

4-Reetro also offers the opportunity to use your own format and choose the number of columns you want.

2- See a list of all  Boards.

You can see a list of the retrospective boards you have created. It also provides you with opportunity to edit, lock or delete your retrospective boards.

3- Invite team members.

Once you have created a retro board, You can invite team members to join.

Just add the email Id of the team members and press “Add a Project Member”. That person will receive an email with a signup link. (You can also choose whether to make that member an Admin or not)

4- Retrospective Board.

Click on the name of your board and it will be opened. You can do the following things on

1-Create items in each columns. You can like, edit and delete these items as well.

1- Exporting the board in PDF or CSV format

2- Like a comment

3- Merge two or more related comments as one

4-  Edit the columns

5- Feed back notifications. If the admin presses the “Ask for Feedback button”

6- Once user clicks on “Give Feedback” following screen will be displayed to collect anonymous feedback

7- Feedback submission

Once user clicks on Submit Feedback following screen will be shown.

5- Retrospective Automation.

As admin you can automate the board creation and feedback collection. Set the follwoing settings in automation tab.

And on the selected date a retro board will be created and feedback notifications will be sent to all the team members.

On the retrospective day, everything will be ready for you.

6- Retrospective Analytics.

Another great feature offered by Reetro is analytics about your previous retro’s. It will help you learn from the data and gives you a chance to improve your retrospective process.
